The venue's ordering page
Each restaurant can publish its own ordering page from Office. Guests use that page for pickup. The menu they see is the till menu, unless you have chosen a shorter set of dishes for the page.
The guest pays by card when they check out. Tavio does not keep the card number. If the page is not published, guests do not get a public checkout.
Delivery is separate from pickup
Delivery appears on that page only when the venue has connected it. The guest checks a delivery price at checkout, and that price is quoted through Uber. If delivery is not connected, the page says so. If the address is too far, Uber will not price it.
That courier price is not the same as listing the restaurant on Uber Eats or Mr D. Those marketplace orders can still drop into Tavio when the integration is turned on under Admin, Integrations. You can take pickup on your own page and also accept marketplace orders. You do not have to.
The kiosk is not online ordering
The self-order kiosk stands in the venue. Guests choose eat in or takeaway, send the order, and pay at the counter with the order number. The kiosk does not take card or cash. Food still goes to the kitchen. The tab shows on All Orders with a Kiosk badge.
Tavio sets the kiosk up. It is not a switch you flip yourself. It is part of Enterprise (R1,999 a month for software), not Starter or Growth. Staff steps are in the kiosk handbook.
Software prices, and the hardware lease on top, are on pricing.
