Request deletion of your data

How to request deletion

1. Email hello@taviopos.co.za with subject Tavio POS — Data deletion request.
2. Include your login email/phone, name, venue name, and whether you are owner or staff.
3. Staff requests may need confirmation from the authorised business contact.
4. We may ask for reasonable information to verify identity before acting.

What we typically delete or anonymise

• User account details (name, email, role)
• Authentication identifiers where technically feasible
• Personal data no longer needed for the purpose collected

What may be kept

• Records required for legal, tax, regulatory, fraud-prevention, or disputes
• Operational logs for a limited period
• Backups that roll off after primary deletion
