Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Tavio POS. Please read them carefully before using our services.
Acceptance of terms
- By accessing and using Tavio POS, you agree to be bound by these terms
- These terms apply to all users, including restaurant owners, staff, and administrators
- Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updated terms
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our services
User accounts & responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities under your account are your responsibility
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating accounts
- Sharing account credentials with unauthorized users is prohibited
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
Acceptable use & prohibited activities
- Use the service only for lawful business purposes
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer or hack the system
- No unauthorized access to other users’ data or accounts
- Compliance with all applicable South African laws and regulations
- No transmission of malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Respect intellectual property rights and copyright laws
Payment terms & billing
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
- Late payments may result in service suspension
- Payment processing is handled securely by third-party providers
- Taxes are calculated based on your business location
Service availability & limitations
- We strive for high uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
- Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance
- Service may be temporarily unavailable due to technical issues
- We are not liable for any business losses due to service interruptions
- Data backup and recovery are your responsibility
- Service is provided “as is” without warranties
Data & privacy
- Your data belongs to you and is protected by our Privacy Policy
- We implement industry-standard security measures
- You retain ownership of all business data and content
- We may use anonymized data for service improvement
- You are responsible for compliance with data protection laws
Termination & cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
- We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms
- Upon termination, you will lose access to the service immediately
- Data deletion requests will be processed within a reasonable period after verification
- Refunds are not provided for partial months or unused periods
