Two levels, on purpose
Starter (R799 a month, software) covers products and basic stock, with orders and tips, for up to 5 staff and 1 device. That is enough for a single till that needs to know what it sells.
Growth (R1,699) and Enterprise (R1,999) add recipes, bundles, stocktakes, and variance. Growth is up to 15 staff and 3 devices. A bar that needs shot-based bottle control is in this group, not on Starter.
How a stocktake works
- Count what is on the shelf in Stock Variance.
- Compare the count with what Tavio expected from sales and receiving.
- Look at large overs and unders: a missing delivery, a wrong recipe, a free pour, or theft.
- Adjust with a reason a manager will accept.
Receiving has to be logged when stock arrives. If it is not, the shelf will not match the system even when the till is honest. A practical rhythm from the handbook: spirit variance on the movers each week, and a fuller count monthly or on your own standard.
Limits
Off-till pours break variance. Software cannot see a drink that was never rung. One product used for every vodka pour size will not track the bottle. A cocktail with no recipe sells fine and then empties the storeroom without a cost.
